Its a beautiful day

Like the title suggests, it is a beautiful day out today! Set up a gnarly slackline in the font yard, super long and very stiff (thats what she said) and my legs are tired from trying to walk the whole thing. The length creates a big NO BOUNCE ZONE so it's been tough!

Ellie was out enjoying the sun and started twirling so i snapped a pic :D she still cannot slacking but has been practicing! 

Also, Thursday was my birfday, the big one eight and my lovely girlfriend kidnapped me, blindfolded me and drove me around for hours! Well, thats an exaggeration, but regardless, she planned me a picnic atop of the paramount parking ramp! 

It was the most thoughtful thing anyone has done for me on my birthday, ever! Usually, my family just goes out to eat sometime near my birthday, and half the time my dad will be working that day anyways (which he was). 

I also got a picture message on my birthday of this from ben! I fricken love orange juice and it was a stellar birthday present! Ben knows me too well! Yesterday at work I drank half of it..

Life has been good.

didn't go to school today, me and the two wheeled terrorist brian went to cuyuna in ironwood, mn to shred the gnar.. i took with one of the demo jamis dragon 29'ers which was sick nasty by the way.. left at like 7;45 and was rolling by 9:30.. ripped it up till 1:30 with a short lunch break in the middle..

Its pretty chill lately, a significant chunk of my friends that i hang out with are gone so just been taking it easy.. Last night i got a txt from schroden that our 4am start had been pushed back to 6, which was a reliefe because i was at a friends bonfire till quarter to twelve.. I was super stoked on the ride this morning, its sick learning new routes and the company makes any riding so much more enjoyable. got home and my mother tells me that im just intime for church and to go clean up quick.. Lucky for me it was the longest service ever at like 20 min short of 2 hours.. Work later and then choir, but i smell breakfast now, i love my mommy :) later gator.. its april fools, what to do, i suck at pranks?

My legs are still hurting from saturday mornings ride but i decided to try and squeeze in some wheel rolling after school today.. Randomly thought riding the jamis on the ONLY gravel 'route' that ive come up with would be a good idea. it was windy as hell and i actually got knocked over.. moop.. it made me cry alot, but cuz it was cold and windy. ahh choir concert! girlfriend :)

i hate this assignment

i entered a bunch of pictures for the Art Crawl friday evening and after printing them, mounting them and naming them i became sick of most.
also these next pictures are supposed to be time passing and a moment captured, and so i hate to edit pictures but i procrastinated and had to for this one. stupid assingment.

Lazy me

I kept telling myself to get these rolls of film developed so i could blog about xmas and ski camp w/ pictures etc.. got them developed about a month later.. that was a week ago, and now I'm writing about it but most likely won't write much.

Ski Camp was rather enjoyable, looking through a lot of these pictures made me miss the snow that was there when we arrived along with the 8 or so inches that fell as we skied there. The cabins were toasty, I definitely wouldn't mind a home like this; in the middle of nowhere.

 Elijah is my bear. and i just liked this picture.

 Masabi ski race wasn't quite a success, but its always an enjoyable trip to take with my friends. A long ride on the bus, me and josh get our own hotel room (away from commotion aka 7th graders screaming).

Christmas was good; my little sister ellie laughs a lot and there was some mad pony going on with a few of the cousins, my legs were so sore the next day.

I Started a photography class this semester: This is a teaser of what might be yet to come.. (if anything turns out) This photo was taken with a Digital SLR camera, but all the previous photos posted were taken with my manual film slr camera (70's).. peace
